2. Toast the Sourdough: Heat a large skillet or a grill pan over medium heat. Alternatively, use a toaster. Lightly brush or drizzle one side of each sourdough slice with a little olive oil. Place the bread oiled-side down in the hot pan or toaster. Toast for 2-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
